Medicaid Waiver Register

Methodology

How we track changes

Official sources

We collect official notices and keep the source documents. Each record links to its source and includes the collection time, any known publication date and a confidence rating.

Rule status and missing details

Proposals are labelled separately from adopted rules. Dates, penalties and affected groups stay unknown unless the source supports them. Action excerpts quote the notice; read the original for context.

Recorded history

History starts when we first collect a document. Later changes are saved as new versions. Earlier records remain available if a source goes offline. A removed document does not mean its rule was repealed.

Profile matching

We compare your saved profile with the categories named in each notice. A matching category includes the notice; a matching exclusion removes it. Notices with uncertain applicability stay visible for review.

Source checks

We check active sources daily. Each register lists its sources, latest successful checks and any pauses or failures on its coverage page.
